Torsional vibrations
The torsional vibration application will check the shaft line for the torsional vibration caused by the
excitation from the propeller and engine. Both free (undamped) vibration calculations and forced (damped)
vibration calculations can be made.
Advantages:
- The torsional vibration model can be partially converted from the Base Model, but can also be made
without the creation of a base model.
- Fast (forced) calculation algorithms (typically within 20 seconds per calculation).
- Acceptance criteria can be checked both graphically in the vibration analyses and in the report.
- All forced vibration analyses are shown in a special designed application in which it is possible
to observe the vibration of each separate element.
